RELIGIOUS FORMATION:

Small Faith Group
Currently we have two Small Faith Groups, one to study "Why Catholic" and the other for prayer, scripture reflection and life sharing in a mutual effort to sustain their faith and see God at work in their lives.

Men's Christ Renews His Parish - Renew, Reflect, Relate
Christ Renews His Parish is designed to give both the individual and the parish community an opportunity for renewal and growth in spiritual life. As we grow in awareness of God’s love and respond to His call, we grow together as a parish family.

Christ Renews His Parish, or CRHP, is often pronounced “Chirp.” It is a weekend retreat experience which is offered once or twice a year here at St. Patrick Parish. Small and large group activities, times of prayer and reflection, presentations and discussions, mass and reconciliation, good fun and laughter, and great food and fellowship are all a part of the experience. Since its beginning in 1969 in Parma, Ohio, Christ Renews His Parish has proven to be an effective instrument for spiritual growth in hundreds of parishes across the country. St. Patrick parish has been sponsoring weekends since February 2007. See Christ Renews His Parish for details.

Sacred Scripture Study

SPIRITUAL LIFE:

Infant Baptisms
Parents wishing to have their child baptized must be registered members of the Parish, and both parents must attend a Baptism Preparation class that is held by Julie Quay. If as a parent you have attended our class in the past three years, you need not attend again. You can register for the class by calling the Parish Office. Baptisms are celebrated during weekendy masses or at another suitable time. Contact Julie Quay at 937-592-1656.

Marriage Preparation
Marriage preparation needs to begin no later than six months prior to the date of the intended marriage. A wedding date cannot be set until the pastor is contacted. Call the Parish Office and request to speak with the priest. Each couple is required to conform to the Archdiocese guidelines and participate in the Pre-Cana experience. Brochures on Pre-Cana and copies of our Parish Marriage Guidelines may be obtained from the Parish Office or at the preliminary meeting with the priest.

Catholics Returning Home
A forum for those Catholics who, for their own reasons, have left the church and now wish to return. The format is that of an open discussion on current church positions and an in-depth study of the sacraments and sacred Scriptures. Contact the Parish Office.
